Skin Care Tips for Summer

Summer.

What's the first thing that came to your mind? Beach? Swimming? Why not, right? We better think of ways to beat the heat. But for now, I'm contented with ice cream and halo-halo. 

Since we mentioned summer and heat, as a beauty junkie, we must take care of our skin. I know getting some color is important right now but make sure you do it properly. Staying under the sun for a long period of time can cause skin disease, dryness, breakouts, etc.

There are a lot of ways to protect your skin and here are some. 

1. Drink plenty of water
It is important to keep yourself hydrated all throughout the day. Water will both hydrate your skin and flush out toxins that can mar your complexion.

2. Stay out of the sun between 10am and 3pm
The most damaging time and the hottest part of the day. The longer you're outside, the more you're skin is exposed to radiation.

3. If you can't avoid going out between 10am and 3pm, make sure to bring some sun protection such as hat, umbrella and sunglasses.

4. Eat healthy foods
A healthy skin comes from eating well. Eat plenty of fruits, especially those refreshing ones and vegetables in salad, raw or steamed.

5. Examine your skin regularly and do some research
As they say, prevention is better than cure. Check for some sign of damage on your skin. If you wish to apply sunblock, do your research on which product will suit your skin type,


It is important for everyone to understand the impact of sun's ray to our skin. Please take time reading and choosing all products that you will use on your skin.
