One time I passed by a display of products in Landmark Trinoma where this nice pink bottle is waving at me. Curious—as usual— I walked towards the table and to my surprise, it is a makeup remover! I'm hesitant to buy it since this is the first time I've encounter a gel makeup remover so we took some time asking the sales staff.
I've heard about this brand several times but never had the chance to check out their products. The staff did mention it's their best seller. Why not give it a try? Though at first glance, it looks like a body wash.
Weeks have passed and I'm getting different opinion about this product. There are certain things I like about it and some are not that good, though not bad as well for a first time.
First, the cooling effect once it has been applied on the face. Well, it's given since this is a gel formula. It gives your face relief after a long day of work.
Second, there is a stinging sensation right after the makeup is removed. At first, it was my sister who noticed it however, it ended as a one-time effect only. But in my case, it happens every time I use the product.
Third, it takes two or three application to make sure there is no residue of makeup on the face. I have to use Maybelline's Micellar Water to remove the rest. By the way, I don't wear heavy makeup on a daily basis.
I'm not happy or disappointed with this product. Though once we emptied the bottle, I really need to convince myself to get another one. But who knows? People and beauty products deserves a second chance. Probably on my second bottle, I can get the best out of it.
