For the past years, we've witness the launched of some local brands and made us even proud knowing that they can compete with well-known international brands when it comes to quality but at an affordable cost.

One of those brand is Beach Born. A local brand in the Philippines with a 100% all-natural product, which make it safe for everyone to use. Lip, body and hair care are their main field. I've been hearing a lot of good feedback about them on Instagram and I decided to check it out myself.

• Sunset Spray: an ultra moisturizing detangler that protects hair from heat and sunlight. I tried this product immediately as I have dry hair and guess what? Fell inlove with it instantly! It eliminates frizz and makes my hair more manageable plus it smells good.

• Piggylash: a cold pressed Castor oil infused with Vitamin E for an added boost. Miss Piggy from Muppets came to mind when I heard of this product and voila, she was the inspiration for this one! Her lashes, to be exact. The consistency is a bit thick but nonetheless, it's effective! In just one week, you'll notice some changes on your lashes.

• Bam Balm: moisturizing balm and lip scrub in one. It has peppermint oil that helps reduce fine lines. It is very lightweight on the lips and believe it or not, on Beach Born's website, they advise that it is an edible lip scrub. Yes, EDIBLE. Shookt?
